Florida freshmen wide receivers Tyrie Cleveland and Rick Wells are now facing first-degree misdemeanor charges for criminal mischief instead of felonies, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The charges stem from a BB gun incident in July. The two receivers were reinstated this week after serving a suspension for their arrests.
Cleveland was ranked the nation’s No. 2 wide receiver in the Class of 2016. Both players also missed some time this offseason due to hamstring injuries.
