Florida coach Dan Mullen has a lot of talent to work with at the offensive skill positions.

Projecting Florida’s offensive depth chart with 2018 signees

We are tackling the best recruiting question supplied by Florida fans each day. If you’d like to submit a question, tweet to Zach Abolverdi here. Check out our question of the day every Monday through Friday. Go here to see our previous answers.

Greg emails and asks, “I know the quarterback competition still has to play out, but what do you think our depth chart on offense will look like?”

Florida will have a quarterback battle this spring for the fourth year in a row. A lot of fans are eager to see early enrollee Emory Jones, but he will have to beat out returning starter Feleipe Franks and two more underclassmen, Jake Allen and Kyle Trask.

Despite his struggles last year, Franks should make strides under new coach Dan Mullen and contend for the job. But ultimately, Jones is a better fit for Mullen’s offense, and I think his dual-threat ability will help him get the nod for the season opener.

The status of wide receiver transfers Trevon Grimes and Van Jefferson is still to be determined by the NCAA, but I included them below to see where they stack up if they’re cleared to play. Here are my projections for Florida’s offensive depth chart in 2018:
