Florida coach Jim McElwain and his assistants were back on the road Tuesday visiting in-state recruits.
McElwain and offensive line coach Brad Davis will be at Apopka High School for teammates William Barnes and Ed Montilus, two of their top remaining targets up front. This comes one day after seeing Under Armour All-American linemen Curtis Dunlap, Richard Gouraige and Nicholas Petit-Frere.
Davis will also visit 4-star offensive linemen Trey Hill and Christian Meadows (FSU commit) on Tuesday, while McElwain checks out 2019 Florida commit Maurice Goolsby and 2020 wide receiver Leonard Manuel, who is ranked the No. 6 recruit nationally in the Class of 2020 by 247Sports.
McElwain and Davis will also evaluate Apopka 2020 DE/TE Jalen Carter while at the school.
Florida assistants Corey Bell, Ja’Juan Seider and Tim Skipper will be in the Peach State visiting 4-star linebacker Richard Jibunor and Minnesota CB commit Terrell Smith, who received an offer from the Gators on May 17.
The trio of coaches will also evaluate high school players at Alpharetta, Buford, Grayson, Hillgrove and Marietta.
