Florida softball vs. UCF: Game time, preview, how to watch online
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida softball team moved to No. 1 in both the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll an the ESPN.com/USA Softball Poll after yet another strong week.
At 40-3, the Gators will look to keep rolling as in-state foe UCF visits Pressly Stadium on Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
Florida has won the last 8 meetings with the Knights by a combined margin of 48-10 and leads the all-time series with a 20-4 mark.
UCF enters this meeting 23-19 for the season.
On the heels of big wins of Top 25 teams in Georgia and Florida State, the Gators went 2-1 against a Kentucky team near the bottom of the SEC standings. They will be looking to avoid any letdown this week while following the UCF game with a three-game home series against Ole Miss (31-13, 6-9 SEC).

Sophomore star Kelly Barnhill was named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I National Pitcher of the Week, the USA Softball Co-Player of the Week and the SEC Pitcher of the Week. Her three SEC Pitcher of the Week honors this year marks the most in one season by any Florida pitcher.
Barnhill is 18-0 with a 0.19 ERA in 110 2/3 innings, while Delanie Gourley is 13-3 with a 1.02 ERA and Aleshia Ocasio is 7-0 with a 0.84 ERA for the Gators.
Offensively, the team is batting .308 as a group.
Kayli Kvistad leads the way with a .375 average, 8 doubles, 5 home runs and 34 RBIs. Amanda Lorenz is hitting .364 with 8 doubles, 1 triple, 7 homers and 30 RBIs. And Sophia Reynoso (.336 average, 2 HRs, 23 RBIs), Nicole DeWitt (.310, 5 HRs, 29 RBIs), Justine McLean (.310 average, 14 stolen bases) and Jordan Roberts (.300, 6 HRs, 32 RBIs) are all putting up big numbers for Florida.
