FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — One of Florida’s starting offensive linemen left Saturday’s game against Arkansas with an injury.
Center Cam Dillard hurt his left knee and did not put any pressure on it as two UF trainers helped him into the locker room. Gators quarterback Luke Del Rio threw his second interception of the game on the ensuing play.
Dillard returned to the sideline on crutches with his knee wrapped in the second half.
Starting right guard Tyler Jordan stepped in for Dillard and backup Fred Johnson filled Jordan’s spot. Jordan was recruited to Florida to play center and was the nation’s No. 7 prospect at the position in the Class of 2015.
