Florida State was humiliated on Saturday, and Seminoles fans likely were looking for answers during the post-game press conferences.
Things got so desperate that one FSU player apparently looked to former Florida Gators QB Tim Tebow for inspiration.
In the moments after the 63-20 loss at Louisville, Seminoles defensive lineman DeMarcus Walker unleashed the following speech to reporters in attendance:

If that sounds familiar, it’s because it is eerily familiar to the post-game speech given by Tebow following a loss to Ole Miss in 2008. From the prominent emphasis on the word “promise” to closing the speech with “God bless,” it was like Walker googled the video of Tebow prior to addressing the media.
Tebow held true to his promise, which now lives on in Florida football lore and is immortalized on plaque outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla.
Can Walker, whose Seminoles are sure to drop from the No. 2 ranking, deliver on his own “Promise?” If he’s going to do so, Florida State will have to get through the Gators on Nov. 26 in Tallahassee, Fla.
