Florida still trails LSU, Alabama in SEC Country Power Rankings
Florida moved up two spots in the AP Poll despite playing this past weekend (thanks to Utah and Florida State getting upset on the road). But the Gators weren’t beneficiaries of sitting out this week in the SEC Country Power Poll.
UF remained in the No. 3 spot, behind LSU and Alabama, which is where I think they should be right now.
The Gators will travel to Jacksonville this weekend to take on UGA, who is ranked No. 6 in the poll.
With a win on Saturday, Florida is almost assuredly winning the SEC East. It’s not a 100 percent guarantee because Vanderbilt could win out and win the SEC East. We know that’s not likely to happen though. After all, it’s Vanderbilt.
