Gametime Announcement

Vanderbilt vs. Florida

The kickoff time for Florida’s second of back-to-back road games in the state of Tennessee has been announced.

The No. 19 Gators will visit Vanderbilt on Oct. 1 at noon ET with the game being broadcast on SEC Network.

Florida (3-0) got a bump in the polls this week, climbing as high as No. 16 in the coaches poll, after a 32-0 win over North Texas in which the defense allowed only 53 total offensive yards — a school record.

The Gators are expected to be without starting quarterback Luke Del Rio for a few weeks due to a knee injury, though the team hadn’t given a formal diagnosis as of Monday morning.

While Florida will be looking to extend an 11-game winning streak over Tennessee, it also has dominated the series with Vanderbilt with wins in 24 of the last 25 meetings. The lone loss in that span came in 2013 in Gainesville when the Commodores won 34-17.
