GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Hours ahead of his trip to Auburn, Tigers commit Eli Stove will receive a visit from Florida.
The four-star wide receiver and top-100 overall recruit from Niceville, Fla. told SEC Country that UF is coming to see him Friday before he leaves for the Plains.
Stove will officially visit Auburn this weekend, Florida the next and Miami on Jan. 29. Two weeks ago, Stove called his pledge to Auburn “solid for now” and said he’s still looking at the Gators.
Stove added that UF is the biggest and only real threat to Auburn, and he visited both schools in November. The Under Armour All-American plans to make his final decision on signing day.
“Just keep contact with me, really,” Stove said when asked what it would take for Florida to flip him. “I’m getting to know all the coaches. I didn’t really know them that much last year, but now I do.”
