ORLANDO, Fla. — This week marks the last high school football experience for Florida signee Josh Hammond.
Following Saturday’s Under Armour All-America Game, the 4-star wide receiver reports to UF on Sunday for early enrollment.
Hammond, rated the No. 33 prospect in the state of Florida, is one of 12 midyear recruits who will begin classes on Monday and compete in spring practice with the Gators. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder plans to make good use of his head start in college.
“I’m going to go through spring ball and try to do what I have to do to play as a true freshman,” Hammond said. “That’s pretty much my first goal. I’m going to come in and work hard.”
In the video interview above, Hammond answers the following questions:
- How has the Under Armour All-American experience been?
- Did he come to Orlando with a point to prove?
- What did he think about Florida’s 2015 season?
- How does he feel about this year’s recruiting class?
