Florida freshman WR Tyrie Cleveland suffered what appeared to be a left ankle injury in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game against Arkansas.
Cleveland had been starting to make an impact in recent weeks for the Gators, but had just 1 catch for 2 yards against the Razorbacks at the time of his injury.
The Gators have had difficulty in the passing game all afternoon vs. Arkansas. Florida QB Luke Del Rio threw a pick-6 on the Gators’ first possession that gave the Razorbacks an early lead, and threw a second pick early in the third quarter.
Florida LB Jarrad Davis also tweaked his injured ankle against the Razorbacks, forcing him from the game in the third quarter.
