GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida has landed Adarius Lemons … again.
The 3-star running back from Clearwater, Fla., re-committed to the Gators on National Signing Day. He has been Florida’s top target at the position throughout this recruiting cycle.
Lemons flipped from North Carolina to UF after attending Friday Night Lights in late July. But three months later, he backed off his pledge because of his suspension from Clearwater High School.
Lemons went from the state’s No. 1-ranked running back to a 3-star recruit because he didn’t play the last half of his senior season.
He attended a secondary school for the rest of his fall semester and improved his academics, allowing him to return to Clearwater High and rejoin Florida’s 2017 class.
