Former Florida Gators QB Chris Leak is being investigated in connection with an alleged sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl.
The alleged assault was reported Monday, according to the Orlando Sentinel’s David Harris. The assault allegedly took place in an athletic trainer office at Edgewater High School, where Leak was working as the head football coach, on Sep. 5. Leak has not been charged with a crime, and the investigation is ongoing.
The girl told police that Leak asked her to give him a massage after emerging from the shower wearing only a towel. She also told police that she massaged the backs of his legs, and that he then asked her to massage the front of his legs. While she did so, he allegedly moved her hands upward to touch his genitals. She said that after touching his genitals a few times, she left.
According to the police report, the girl said Leak called her, bought her food and then took her home. When the victim later told a friend, the report said Leak gave the friend $100.
Leak resigned from his position as the head football coach at Edgewater on Monday after five games with the team. It was his first season as head coach.
