Former Florida Gators DE Dante Fowler was thrown out of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday after getting in a fight with a Tampa Bay player.
Jacksonville head coach Gus Bradley told reporters after practice that the former No. 3 overall pick was removed from the scrimmage. The altercation was with Bucs OG Ali Marpet, according to ESPN.com’s Micahel DiRocco.

It is not clear whether the practice officials or the Jacksonville coaching staff made the decision to remove Fowler from practice. Thursday was the second of two days of joint practices between the two squads.
The Jaguars selected Fowler in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He missed his entire rookie season with a torn ACL.
