Alex Anzalone is pumped about the potential of Florida’s young linebackers.
On Saturday afternoon, the former Gators linebacker weighed in on the topic after he was asked about the skill of Florida linebackers Jeremiah Moon, David Reese and Kylan Johnson. The answer below will please Gators fans. (Anzalone’s tweet was deleted, but a screenshot of the original is included.)

Given Anzalone’s experience, he would know quality talent when he sees it. He had 75 tackles and 5 tackles for loss with 3 sacks from 2013-16 with the Gators. After appearing in the Senior Bowl, he was taken in the third round by the New Orleans Saints in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Anzalone’s comment came during the Gators’ game against Tennessee on Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in a key SEC East matchup. Florida entered the game 0-1 after a loss to Michigan on Sept. 2 and the cancellation of its contest against Northern Colorado last Saturday.
