Former Florida linebacker Antonio Morrison may have hurt his draft stock after missing the NFL combine, but at least teams now know he’s ready to go if he hears his name called.
After six weeks of antibiotics treatment, Morrison was fully cleared during a medical recheck evaluation, according to a report from the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
As a senior last season, Morrison led SEC East champion Florida with 103 tackles. Only six players in the conference had more.
CBS Sports rates Morrison as the No. 11 inside linebacker in the 2016 draft class, and projects him to be taken in the seventh round or sign with a team as an undrafted free agent.
