Keanu Neal is a physical player.
That was evident on Sunday when Neal and former Kentucky tight end Jacob Tamme kicked off the first fight of Atlanta Falcons training camp.
The fight ensued after Neal laid out Tamme following a catch, according to the AJC’s D. Orlando Ledbetter

Neal, who was the No. 17 overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, admitted he was in the wrong following practice.
“He just really emphasized that we are trying to protect the team,” Neal said of Tamme, per Ledbetter. “That was the point he was trying to get across. That’s the biggest thing and it’s true.
“He held me accountable. So, he put me in check. I got out of hand hitting him like that. We are a physical team, but we’ve got to protect the team. He emphasized that.”
Florida fans have seen that type of hit from Neal before, as the former Gators safety collected 146 tackles and four interceptions during his three-year career in Gainesville.
