Jeff Driskel has landed with a new NFL team.
After the former Florida quarterback was cut by the San Francisco 49ers, Driskel was claimed by the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Driskell was drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. The 49ers brought in Christian Ponder, and retained quarterbacks Blaine Gabbert and Colin Kaepernick. Driskel will join former Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron and Andy Dalton on the Bengals’ roster.
After transferring to Louisiana Tech, Driskel posted his best collegiate numbers, as he threw for over 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns.
Cincinnati kicks off its season next Sunday against the New York Jets.
