Former Florida Gators RB Matt Jones left Washington’s preseason game against the New York Jets on Friday night with a shoulder injury.
The team’s official Twitter account confirmed that Jones was going to get an x-ray on his left shoulder.

Jones had carried the ball seven times for 31 yards before he left the game.
Washington selected Jones in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft with the No. 95 pick overall. Jones ran for 480 yards and three touchdowns with four fumbles in 2015.
