Jake McGee is getting another shot at the NFL.
After signing and being waived by the Carolina Panthers in May, the former Gators right end has signed with the Oakland Raiders, the team announced on Tuesday.
After playing three seasons at Virginia, McGee transferred to Florida eligible to play the 2014 season, but suffered a season-ending injury in the opener that resulted in a medical redshirt. He returned to field in 2015 where he competed in 13 games, catching 41 passes for 381 yards and four touchdowns.
McGee earned Second Team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press for his efforts.
