Kyshaun Bryan plans to announce a top 10 soon, and four SEC schools will make the cut.
The three-star running back from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas said Florida, LSU, Mississippi State and South Carolina are standing out to him.
Here’s what Bryan likes about them:
Florida: “They’re real good. Hopefully I can get up there soon, check out the school and talk to (running backs) coach Tim Skipper. (His QB) Jake Allen talks to me everyday about Florida. That’s where he’s going and he loves it. I’ve known him since I was young.”
LSU: “I was actually shocked that they offered me. They’ve been showing me interest and I’m anxious to get up there. I heard it’s a great place, so I’m excited about going to see it for myself.”
Mississippi St: “They came down to see me at my high school, so I like how they showed me some love. That tells me that they’re really interested in me, so I’m going to go check out that school as well.”
South Carolina: “I can’t wait to get up there. I’m really excited. Coach (Will) Muschamp was recruiting me when he was at Florida. I’ve talked to him on the phone and he seems real cool.”
Those schools are four of the 15 offers Bryan currently holds. His others include Clemson, Florida State and Ohio State.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pounder has previously visited Florida, FSU, Miami and Georgia, which has yet to offer him. He plans to take trips to Clemson, Michigan and Virginia Tech this spring.
Bryan hopes to have a decision before or during his senior season.
