Former Florida and South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier is universally known across the sports world as the “Head Ball Coach.”
Apparently, FOX News morning show FOX & Friends is looking to get a new nickname rolling for the semi-retired 71-year-old Gators ambassador.
In case you didn’t know, Steve Spurrier is in the midst of a media tour following Tuesday’s release of his memoir titled “Head Ball Coach.” It’s a fitting book title, given his nickname. But don’t tell that to FOX News, which ran the following graphic during a recent appearance by Spurrier:

As catchy as “Head Game Coach” would be for a book title and a new nickname, something tells us Spurrier will stick with what already works.
