The Gators will host No. 3 Ole Miss on Saturday at 7 p.m. in a game aired on ESPN. It will be battle between two undefeated teams, as Florida (4-0, 2-0 SEC) is coming off a 28-27 comeback win over Tennessee and Ole Miss (4-0, 2-0 SEC) is coming off a 27-16 win over Vanderbilt.
The last time Ole Miss and Florida faced off was in 2008 when the Rebels won 31-30 in the Swamp to hand the Gators their only loss of the season. Former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow gave his legendary “Promise” speech following the game, as the Gators went on to win 10 straight to win the national title that season.
Florida’s matchup with Ole Miss will mark the Gators’ fourth night game of the season.
