GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida will host several big-time recruits Saturday for the Missouri game.
The nation’s No. 2 linebacker, Anthony Hines, and the nation’s No. 1 center, Cesar Ruiz, will officially visit the Gators.
It’s the first trip to UF for Hines, who is from Plano, Texas. The in-state Aggies appear to be his favorite at this time, but Hines seems genuinely interested in Florida.
Ruiz attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., and visited the Gators in the spring. Michigan is considered the team to beat for him.

5-star RB checking out Gators again
Lorenzo Lingard, the nation’s No. 2 running back for 2018, is making his second trip to Florida this season.
The 5-star recruit from Orange City, Fla., was in attendance for the 45-7 win over Kentucky last month.
“This school showed me more,” Lingard told SEC Country after that visit. “I’m going to check them out more. (The visit) had a great impact on me.”
Coveted offensive tackle visiting UF
The Gators need more linemen in their 2017 class, and one of the nation’s best will be on hand Saturday.
Tony Gray, a 4-star offensive tackle from Lawrenceville, Ga., is attending the Missouri game. He last visited Florida in April.
Gray has more than 30 offers, including Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and Texas A&M. Georgia may have the inside track on his recruitment, but Gray claims to be wide open.
Familiar faces back in town
A handful of UF commits for the Class of 2017 plan on returning to Gainesville.
Tight end Kemore Gamble, defensive tackle Jordon Scott, linebacker Ventrell Miller, cornerback Shawn Davis and Marco Wilson are all scheduled to visit.
Florida’s two 2019 pledges, defensive lineman Jaquaze Sorrells and defensive back Jaleel McRae, will also be back. They’ve came to every home game this season.
Florida hosting several 2018 recruits
The Gators will host more than a dozen underclassmen in addition to Lingard.
Some of the top visitors include 4-star wide receivers Jermaine Eskridge (Tampa, Fla.), Mark Pope (Miami) and Warren Thompson (Seffner, Fla.) as well as 4-star offensive tackle Reuben Unije from IMG Academy.
