The Gators got good news over the weekend when 5-star quarterback Matt Corral gave his pledge to the school. He gave Florida something else to be excited about on Tuesday.
Corral, the nation’s No. 2 pro-style QB in the Class of 2018, seems set for early enrollment, as he announced via Twitter on Tuesday evening.
Yes, i am on track to enroll early. See you in December Gainesville.

The 6-foot-2, 196-pound Long Beach, Calif. native committed to Jim McElwain and Florida on Saturday after a three-day visit to campus. He chose UF over Alabama, Georgia and Southern Cal — he decommitted from the Trojans in mid-June.
He’s scheduled to make an unofficial visit to Georgia on Wednesday.
According to Rivals, Corral is the No. 7 overall prospect in the recruiting cycle. If he remains in the top 10, he’d be the highest-ranked quarterback signee in Gators history.
In its 2018 class, Florida has 14 commitments and 10 of those have committed to the program in the last two months. Corral is one of six prospects rated as a 4-star or better, according to 247Sports.
