Florida linebacker Alex Anzalone has suffered a season-ending injury for the second consecutive year.
Anzalone broke his left arm Saturday in the Arkansas game and will miss the rest of 2016, according to sources.
Anzalone is second on the team in tackles (53), totaling 8 on Saturday. He suffered a season-ending shoulder injury last year and missed the final 12 games of 2015. Anzalone’s shoulder also gave him trouble during his freshman season in 2013.
Anzalone earned his bachelor’s degree in August, but he has one year of eligibility remaining. He’s yet to decide whether he will enter the 2017 NFL Draft or return for his redshirt senior season.
