GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Luke Del Rio won’t be listening to FOX Sports Radio anytime soon.
The Florida quarterback responded Friday to Clay Travis’ comments about the Gators using Hurricane Matthew to dodge the LSU game.

Del Rio did not hold back Monday when asked why he decided to speak out against Travis.
“I thought it was extremely unprofessional, to be honest,” Del Rio said. “I thought it was important to say something. I fought myself a little bit on saying more. I think less is more in that situation. Yeah, I was proud of the way, the feedback was good for the most part.”
UF coach Jim McElwain was also strongly offended by the comments of Travis and other national members regarding the postponement. Del Rio is starting this Saturday against Missouri after missing the last two games with a sprained left knee.
