Obviously, a Southeastern Conference game against LSU takes precedence over a November game against Presbyterian.
But that doesn’t make things any easier to handle for fans holding tickets to the original Nov. 19 game in Gainesville.
According to the UF athletic department, there are several ramifications for fans because of this move, including:
- Season ticket holders can have funds credited to their accounts for the 2017 season from the lost LSU and Presbyterian, or be refunded the money by requesting by Oct. 28
- Single-game purchasers of those tickets have until Oct. 28 to request a refund or that money can only go to 2017 season tickets
- Students will receive a refund for the two games to the original method of payment
- More information will be posted by Friday morning to the FloridaGators.com ticket page
The release also touted the new and improved 2017 home schedule, which now includes LSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Florida State.
