Florida lost another close game at home, this time falling to Texas A&M 19-17.
The loss drops Florida to 3-3 on the season and 3-2 in the SEC. The Gators once again struggled on offense, racking up 17 points.
The Florida defense also wore down at the end of the game, giving up multiple long drives against the Aggies and freshman quarterback Kellen Mond.
After the game on Twitter, Florida coach Jim McElwain received a lot of criticism from Florida fans and media types.
Jim McElwain now 5-11 in games that the opponent scores more than 14. #Gators

Jim McElwain's luck is officially over. Gators could be 1-5. That Georgia game is going to be ugly.

At least we looked terrible in the worst uniforms in the history of the program while doing it

Florida #Gators football (3-3) off to its worst start to a season since 1986 (1-4). That UF team beat No. 5 Auburn, No. 19 UGA & FSU.

McElwain has come across a lot of bad luck while at Florida, but it doesn’t excuse the state of the program & especially the offense in YR 3

Those unis are as beatiful as the McElwain/Nussmeier offense.

ESPN flips from McElwain coached UF after a terrible offensive game, to Colorado State scoring their second TD in five minutes. Incredible.
