Almost every Mississippi State fan remembers Taveze Calhoun. Meanwhile Florida hasn’t seen much of Dre Massey yet.
Nevertheless, the two shared some playful words over Twitter on Sunday regarding Dan Mullen. Calhoun was the first to tweet, offering up the premise that the Bulldogs and Gators would really go after each other next season because both the athletic director (Scott Stricklin) and now the head coach (Dan Mullen) have switched schools.
On me Florida our rival now! First you take our AD and now our coach? They gone have to see us fr fr

Massey replied almost four hours later, seemingly accepting Calhoun’s premise in what seemed like a challenge.

Massey had to take a medical redshirt in 2016 because of a season-ending knee injury he suffered against UMASS. This season he has 10 catches for 143 yards as well as one rushing touchdown.
Calhoun started at corner in three seasons for the Bulldogs, totaling 161 career tackles, 12 tackles for loss and six interceptions from 2012 to 2015.
