GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida is hosting two big-time visitors Monday.
Four-star athlete Devon Hunter (Chesapeake, Va./Indian) and four-star cornerback Amir Riep (Cincinnati, Ohio/Colerain) are making out-of-state trips to check out the Gators. UF extended offers in mid-February to Hunter and Riep, both of whom have been offered by more than 30 programs.
Hunter is the No. 2 athlete and 39th overall prospect in the Class of 2017, while Riep ranks 132nd nationally and No. 14 at his position, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Hunter and Riep are visiting UF for the first time and will get to watch the Gators in action. The Florida football team returns to practice Monday after a three-day break for Easter weekend.
