Devin Robinson didn’t hear his name called on Thursday night. But that doesn’t mean his NBA dreams are done.
Per multiple reports, Robinson agreed to a deal with the Washington Wizards summer league team.
The former Gator declared for the draft after his junior year, where he led the Gators to the Elite Eight while averaging 11.1 points and 6.1 rebounds. Robinson had been pegged by many to be an early second round pick.
Robinson and the Wizards will play in the Las Vegas Summer League, which runs from July 7-17.
Only 4 SEC players were taken in the 2017 NBA Draft. De’Aaron Fox, Malik Monk and Bam Adebayo all went in the lottery while Sindarius Thornwell of South Carolina was taken in the second round.
