It appears Florida soon will be replacing one of its top player personnel and recruiting assistants. Casey Callahan, who held the official title Program Assistant II on Jim McElwain’s support staff, has reportedly accepted a job in the NFL.
According to a report from ESPN’s Derek Tyson, Callahan has accepted a position with the Tennessee Titans.

Per ESPN’s Tennessee Titans beat reporter Paul Kuharsky, Callahan is expected to become a scouting assistant for the Titans front office.
Casey’s father, high school football coach Sean Callahan, tweeted a congratulatory message on Wednesday morning:

Callahan’s role at Florida was not an on-field assistant role and does not impact the nine assistant coaches on Jim McElwain’s staff.
