Former Florida cornerback J.C. Jackson is reportedly leaning toward enrolling at South Carolina later this summer.
According to a report from Phil Kornblut of sportstalksc.com, who spoke with Jackson’s position coach at Riverside City College in California, Jackson is “leaning towards South Carolina at the moment. He will be finished with his AA in mid-June.”
South Carolina coach Will Muschamp signed Jackson out of Immokalee, Fla. in 2014, before his final season at Florida.
Jackson, who was a four-star recruit, didn’t play that year after taking a medical redshirt.
The following spring, Jackson withdrew from Florida after he was charged with multiple counts in connection with a home invasion and robbery. In the fall, after enrolling at Riverside CC, Jackson was found not guilty on all charges.
Jackson appeared in six games last fall and registered 25 tackles.
