Former Florida RB Jordan Cronkrite reportedly has a new football destination.
According to a report from Tito Benach of 247Sports, the former Gators running back committed to play for Charlie Strong at South Florida.

Cronkrite will be required to sit out the 2017 season per the NCAA’s transfer rules since he is moving from one FBS school to another. He will have two years of eligibility remaining and should join the Bulls roster in 2018. Cronkrite played for the Gators in the 2016 season before deciding to leave the program following the SEC championship game loss to Alabama.
According to Benach, Cronkrite was on campus at South Florida for a visit on Thursday.
Jordan Cronkrite’s rushing stats at Florida (2015-16)
A former 4-star prospect, Cronkrite played for the Gators as a true freshman, rushing for 157 yards and 3 touchdowns on 44 carries. But he seemingly got frustrated with his lack of involvement in the Florida offense during his sophomore season, which netted just 145 yards rushing and 1 touchdown on 31 carries.
With Jordan Scarlett clearly ahead on the depth chart and several other running backs ready to fill his place, the writing was on the wall for Cronkrite’s role with the Gators.
