The streak is coming to an end this season.
At least, that’s what the SEC Network is predicting for the Florida-Tennessee rivalry. The network continued its preseason predictions for each SEC football schedule by tackling the Gators’ slate on Tuesday evening.
Former LSU defensive lineman Marcus Spears and former Vanderbilt quarterback (and newly-minted Bachelorette champion) Jordan Rodgers were the SEC Network analysts charged with the challenge of going through the Florida schedule game-by-game to make predictions.
The duo decided on three-game winning streaks to begin and end the season for the Gators, but also predicted a rough patch of four conferences losses in the six games in between.
The good? They predicted Florida to beat the Seminoles for the first time since 2012. The bad? They also predicted the Vols to beat the Gators for the first time since 2004.
