Florida is looking at one less player than expected in its class of early enrollees.
Sources confirmed to SEC country that 3-star cornerback Shawn Davis did not meet the credit requirements and must make up a class, preventing him from enrolling early at Florida as originally planned.

Davis ranked as the nation’s 50th-best cornerback, according to 247Sports. Five other players did meet the requirements and have enrolled, including 4-star tackle Kedeem Telfort and 4-star tight end Kemore Gamble.
Davis is one of three corners committed to the Gators and would have been the only one to enroll early. Both of Florida’s other two corners are 4-star recruits: Elijah Blades and Marco Wilson.
