With Thursday’s news that the LSU game at Florida on Saturday has been canceled because of Hurricane Matthew, the social media world lit up with reaction.
A sampling from the interwebs:
Will be interesting to get an explanation for why they didn’t just flip it to Baton Rouge.

Loving LSU and Florida fans getting all mad about this. Remember, you've both got to win a bunch to need to make this one up.

Guess Florida isn't confident enough in their Gators to take on this team without their home crowd

So Florida would rather postpone the game than move it to Baton Rouge or New Orleans or anywhere else? Interesting

On Nov. 19 Florida and LSU play Presbyterian and South Alabama. Pay those teams their checks, cancel and play the postponed game.

Coach O still undefeated.

On 11/19, LSU plays South Alabama while Florida plays Presbyterian. If you could somehow move/cancel those games, then LSU/UF could happen

Florida vs. Tennessee was suspended in 2001 due to 9/11. The SEC moved the Championship Game back one week and played the game on 12/1.
