Uptight media members like to tell you there is no cheering in the press box. But it seems that rule does not apply to Florida legend Steve Spurrier.
After Florida quarterback Feleipe Franks had a 15-yard run in the second quarter of the Georgia game, Spurrier apparently let out a cheer, which irked many media members.
As it turns out, the guy cheering was Steve Spurrier. https://t.co/LACeFTEFvv

All quiet in the press box during Franks’ run and then you hear a loud “ha HA” from somewhere nearby … it was Spurrier.

Coach Spurrier getting a little excited in the press box…Must be what he sounds like after a birdie on 18 at Sawgrass

I wish you, at home, could have heard Steve Spurrier’s reaction to that Franks rush…the one that’s coming back because of penalty

To make things worse for Spurrier, the Franks play got called back on a holding call. Then Florida got stuffed inside the 5-yard line and ended the drive with no points.
Things are going very poorly for the Gators, as they trail 21-0.
