GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida is getting an early start on its 2019 recruiting class.
The Gators picked up a commitment Saturday from Jaquaze Sorrells, a 2019 defensive end from Largo, Fla.
Sorrells camped at UF on Friday and the coaching staff later extended him an offer, the first of his recruitment. He measured in at 6-foot-3, 240 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.77 seconds.
Sorrells is the second member of Florida’s 2019 class, joining cornerback Jaleel McRae from New Smyrna Beach, Fla.
