Tim Tebow is back in Florida and back in the blue and orange.
As his Florida Gators begin Tennessee week, the iconic former quarterback is beginning a new athletic journey today.
Tebow reported Sunday to Fall Instructional League for the New York Mets in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and is taking the field today.
After working out recently for several teams in Los Angeles, Tebow received a $100,000 signing bonus for his minor league contract with the franchise. The reported plan is to work Tebow out for three weeks and then decide whether to send him to Arizona Fall League, a winter league or to season him with personal tutoring in preparation for spring training.

The Mets have insisted that signing Tebow was strictly a baseball decision.
But of course, selling a little Tebow merchandise can never hurt.
