Tim Tebow will always be remembered for his play on the field and his dominant run with the Florida Gators in the late 2000’s. But perhaps it’s the quarterback’s actions away from the gridiron that will forever ingrain him in football fans’ minds.
This weekend was no exception.
The Tim Tebow Foundation hosted a “Night to Shine,” modeled like a high school prom, for people with special needs, according to Fox Sports’ Jimmy Traina.
The event reportedly hosted more than 32,000 people.
“The Night to Shine movement is more than just a prom; it is a night where people with special needs shine and they are told that they matter, that they are important and that God has a plan for their life!” Tebow said, per Traina.
