GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Nick Eubanks’ illness has worked out in Florida’s favor.
The coveted tight end planned to officially visit UF this past weekend, but didn’t make it because he got sick on Friday.
However, Eubanks has rescheduled his trip to Florida according to four-star defensive end Brian Burns, his teammate at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Fla.
“Yeah, he told me he’s going to Michigan (mid-week) and then Florida on this weekend coming up. He wants to get up there,” said Burns, who visited the Gators over the weekend.
With his new plans, Eubanks is cancelling his previously scheduled mid-week visit to Miami and weekend trip to Southern Cal. He visited Alabama on Jan. 15.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pounder is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports and the nation’s No. 15 tight end in the site’s composite rankings.
