Vernon Hargreaves III has big-time ups.
The former Florida cornerback is only one year into his professional career. But if the clip below is any guide, quarterbacks would be smart to avoid his side of the field next fall.
Check out the tweet released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday. During a recent workout, Hargreaves goes high — way high — to snag an interception and impress us all.

That kind of athleticism is what Tampa Bay envisioned when the Bucs made the former Florida star the No. 11 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Last season, Hargreaves totaled 76 tackles and one interception as the Bucs finished 9-7. There are heightened expectations in Tampa this fall with quarterback Jameis Winston leading the Bucs’ offensive threat. Tampa Bay added a significant target by selecting former Alabama tight end O.J. Howard in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. If Hargreaves and others can take a step forward on defense, it’s not a stretch to picture the Bucs reaching the playoffs next season.
One thing is for sure: Hargreaves should only get better with time.
