CITRA, Fla. — The new year can’t come soon enough for Freddie Swain.
The 4-star wide receiver from Citra North Marion is one of nine current Florida commitments who will enroll in January.
In late November, UF announced the signings of Swain and four other early enrollees with their written offer of admissions.
The 6-foot-1, 188-pounder had 706 receiving yards and eight touchdowns as a senior, leading North Marion to 10-2 record.
Swain is Florida’s fourth-highest rated commit in the 247Sports Composite.
In the video below, Swain answers the following questions:
1) How does it feel to be signed to Florida?
2) Why was Florida his school of choice?
3) What does he think about coach Jim McElwain’s direction of the program?
4) Can he make a freshman impact similar to wide receiver Antonio Callaway’s?
