The Gators’ trend of taking interceptions to the house continued against the Vols on Saturday.
Florida recorded its third pick-6 in two games and the second from freshman CB CJ Henderson when he snagged a tipped pass from receiver Marquez Callaway and took it 16 yards for a touchdown.
That put the Gators up 13-3 and, based on how the Vols’ offense has struggled, could be enough to secure a Florida victory in The Swamp.

At the moment, Florida’s defense has scored three touchdowns while the offense has yet to do so. Henderson, in his own right, has scored twice after returning a Wilton Speight pass 41 yards to the end zone two weeks ago against Michigan.
For perspective, the Gators had four INTs for TDs all of last season. Alabama had six to lead all Power 5 conference schools.
The 6-foot-1, 186-pound Miami product was a 4-star prospect and the No. 16 CB in the Class of 2017, according to the 247Sports composite ranking.
