GAINESVILLE, Fla. — It took longer than expected, but Florida’s Tyrie Cleveland scored his first career touchdown Saturday.
On third-and-8, the true freshman wide receiver hauled in a pass on a crossing route and turned it upfield for a 20-yard score to give the Gators a 26-7 lead.

Cleveland, who started against Missouri, had three catches for 79 yards through three quarters, including a game-high 46-yarder.
The nation’s No. 2 WR recruit, Cleveland had high expectations coming into this year. A lingering hamstring injury and one-game suspension held him back early in the season, but he appears to be catching on now.
