Saturday against Mizzou, it was former linebacker and freshman All-American Brandon Siler’s turn
Siler’s return to campus was part of a weekend of festivities surrounding the 10-year anniversary of the 2006 Florida national championship team. He collected 214 total tackles during his time in Gainesville.
He was named a third-team AP All-American and second team All-SEC in 2006. Siler enjoyed a six-year career in the NFL with the Chargers and Chiefs. His most prolific season came in 2009 when he started seven games for San Diego with 52 tackles and two sacks.
