Former Florida tight end Jordan Reed was not having a great game on Monday night. And that was before he was ejected.
Reed, who when healthy has been one of the most productive tight ends in the NFL, had just one catch and six yards in Washington’s game agaisnt Carolina. Then he was ejected for throwing a punch in the fourth quarter of the game.
Reed got into with Carolina safety Kurt Coleman and the referee saw the former Gator throw a punch.

Washington was in the red zone at the time and the punch ended just about any hope of a touchdown on the drive. The Redskins settled for a field goal, to trim the Carolina lead to 23-12.
The game between the two teams has been very chippy, as Cam Newton received a taunting penalty after the refs missed a helmet-to-helmet hit earlier in the game.
