BATON ROUGE — With LSU in position to take a two-score lead Saturday, Caleb Brantley came up big for Florida.
In the second quarter, the Gators defensive tackle forced a fumble on first-and-goal by a punching the ball out of Derrius Guice’s hands. UF linebacker Kylan Johnson recovered the fumble.

The turnover stopped an 11-play, 63-yard drive by LSU, but Florida went three-and-out on the following possession. The Tigers scored on their opening series of the game.
Brantley, a redshirt junior, has 19 tackles (4.5 TFL) on the year and is expected to enter the NFL Draft after this season. This week Pro Football Focus ranked Brantley third nationally among defensive tackles in “pass rush productivity.”
